Prior to joining the Institutional Relations team at CEA CAPA, Yasamin spent six years working in higher education, including three years with the Education Abroad Office at the University of Oklahoma. Born and raised in Texas, she holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas and a B.S. in Strategic Communication from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!).

Growing up, Yasamin traveled frequently between the U.S. and Iran, which sparked an early appreciation for cross-cultural experiences. Her passion for international education deepened while studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. Today, she’s thrilled to help institutions expand access to transformative global opportunities for their students.

Outside of work, you can usually find Yasamin at a sporting event, a trivia night, or on her couch keeping up with reality TV. If you’ve got a favorite show or a pop culture hot take, she’s your person!
