I really enjoyed my Spanish language class. The professor made the class very engaging. We would listen to music and play learning games, such as Jeopardy, to review the vocabulary we had covered in class. I also loved that all of the other students were motivated and were excited to participate in class conversations and discussions.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I spent a lot of time out in the local community in the afternoons after class. Each day, I explored a new part of the city, and while walking, I would stop at shops, grab a snack, or study in a cute café. These everyday interactions became some of my favorite parts of the experience. I also enjoyed asking locals and other people I met about restaurants or dishes they recommended.
