HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I primarily spent my time in London's arts spaces, attending popular musicals/plays, exploring museums and exhibits, and always looking for bookstores to sustain my love of reading. Through many of these adventures, I found the most authentic engagement with local Londoners outside the academic CEA CAPA environment.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class I took abroad was World Politics, which actually inspired me to pursue a certificate in International Relations on my home campus. Despite living abroad for most of my life, my experience in the American school system focused primarily on the US government and domestic events. It wasn't until I took World Politics in London that I felt I'd gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be a global citizen. Learning about the theories and nuances that underlie my primary major, Political Science, in a global context was an exceptional highlight of my study-abroad journey.
