Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because my goal is to be fluent in French. I’ve been taking classes for years but wanted to immerse myself in the language so that one day I could teach someone else. Also, I have never had the chance to leave the country before, so when I saw the opportunity I knew I had to take it.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I am hoping to be able to communicate with the locals in Aix-en-Provence. As a psychology major I love getting to hear everyone’s perspectives and I look forward to being able to use what I learn in my French classes to do this.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
While I don’t know my classes yet, I do know that they will all help me learn French. This has me very excited for all of them since I would like to be a teacher one day and hope to teach French.

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
One thing I am passionate about is rowing. I have rowed since eighth grade and now compete for my home university. So, I am very excited to figure out how to trim on my own so that I can still compete with my team once I get home.
