Why did you choose to shadow abroad?
I chose to shadow abroad because I love experiencing new cultures and learning about healthcare from a global perspective. I studied abroad with CEA CAPA in Costa Rica previously and had such a great experience that I knew I wanted to go abroad again. I chose Athens because I've always been interested in its history and mythology, and because of Greece's beautiful islands! I'm most excited for the Atlantis shadowing abroad program because it gives me the chance to observe healthcare professionals in a different country and learn about a new healthcare system. As someone interested in a career in healthcare, I'm looking forward to gaining hands-on insight into the medical field while experiencing a new culture.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One new experience I'm hoping to have while abroad is shadowing healthcare professionals in a different country and learning how their healthcare system compares to the U.S. I'm also excited to explore the Greek islands and experience the culture firsthand.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT? I'm passionate about healthcare, traveling, photography, and learning about different cultures. I'm especially excited to be in Greece because I've always been interested in Greek mythology and history. In my free time, I love thrifting, shopping, and exploring local neighborhoods, so I'm looking forward to discovering unique stores and markets. I'm also excited to explore the beautiful islands, try new foods, and capture my experiences through photos along the way.
