WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD AND WHY?

I only took two classes abroad over the summer, and I would say my favorite class was our conversation class with an actual teacher from the University of Alicante. It was very interesting to learn about regional differences specifically from Alicante, and then comparing them to my own experiences. I think that by learning about these regional differences, I was able to better understand the city's culture.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, there were many different ways that I engaged with the local community. One example is that I would often meet people while exploring the city with my friends, and we would exchange information and schedule to hang out later. Another way was on campus when taking my classes, as interacting with students and faculty there gave me some more insight about the campus culture.
