I really loved the Art and Architecture in Prague class! It took us through the entire history of Prague and its political position within Europe, and how that contributed to art development within the city. I really enjoyed all of the class trips and on-site learning that was a core part of the class.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While in Prague, I engaged with the local community by doing a lot of studying in local cafes. We also made sure to take advantage of local produce from the grocery store in our meals, and frequented some amazing restaurants right on our street. Maybe the largest part of my experience was experiencing the city's most popular park, Letna Park, which was just a five minute walk from my apartment. I really enjoyed working out, running, and playing frisbee with my roommates in the open fields overlooking the city.
