WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
Send an Email
K-Pop and Global Hallyu was my favorite class while I was abroad. I had fun learning how digital media, translation, and foreign fans have shaped K-pop and Korean popular culture into worldwide phenomena. I gained a better understanding of Hallyu from the course and was able to relate what we studied to my experiences in Korea.
HOW
DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
During my time abroad in Japan and South Korea, I participated in buddy programs that paired me with local students. These experiences allowed me to engage with the local community and learn more about their daily lives and culture. Additionally, I took part in social events and language exchange activities, furthering my understanding of the local way of life.
