Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad and intern this summer because as someone who travels often, I had always wanted to study abroad when I went to college. However, my major and minor courses prevented me from doing an entire semester abroad, so led me to choose the summer. I appreciate the growth that happens when I’m taking risks and getting uncomfortable, so what better way then to adapt to a new country and be open to new experiences. I will be studying and interning in Prague, Czech Republic. I chose this location because I’ve never been there, my Mom has some close colleagues that live in Prague, and also because I fell in love with the architecture of the city.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I cannot wait to meet my fellow roommates. I hope that we can become fast friends and get to share some amazing experiences together. Maybe we can even adventure on our own go on some of our own trips together.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT? I love doing artwork. From sketching, to graphic design, I have done many different styles of artwork throughout my life. Now that I am a Writing for Film, TV, and Emerging Media major, I enjoy using my love of art to create visuals of the characters I write about.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am looking forward to taking the course Art and Architecture in the Golden City. This course will help me learn so much about the city and history of Prague. As someone who is heavily interested in learning more about art and history, I am excited to take this course and get to learn more about the city.
