My favorite class was Art and Architecture in Ancient Rome. Our classes were onsite, so we got to explore Rome while getting college credits. It was really cool to learn about the locations that Rome was built on while also seeing them firsthand.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
My roommate and I frequently visited the local farmer's market to buy fruits, vegetables, and meats for our dinners. It allowed us to see how locals acquire some of their food while also learning some Italian every time we bought something.
