Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad to have a unique academic experience, while immersing myself in a different culture. I chose Costa Rica because of its biodiversity, culture, and values. I also appreciated the idea of improving my Spanish without the pressure of a study abroad program designed for language immersion.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I hope to be put in uncomfortable situations that challenge me and make me a more resilient person, whether it's in the classroom or in a social setting.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most looking forward to taking Tropical Botany because it's a class I would never be able to take at my home institution.

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
I'm excited to explore the area, practice my Spanish with my host mom and locals, and meet new people.
