Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because it has been a lifelong dream ever since I was a little girl!! I chose Costa Rica because the program they have was an amazing opportunity to use both my majors (Nursing & Spanish). It also was a perfect program for me because it is in the summer. I am an NCAA track and field athlete at Winona State and we practice year round, so the only time I can study abroad is in the summer.

What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I am hoping to learn more about the culture and food, as well as make some new friends!!

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT? I am passionate about reading, cooking, and of course my sport track and field. I am excited to share my interests with my new friends and I hope to learn more from others.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
My tropical medicine class!!
