Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I completed a semester abroad experience last year in the Asia-Pacific, so I wanted another opportunity abroad but this time in Europe. As a business student, this was an amazing opportunity to both intern and take classes in a foreign country, and I chose London specifically because I enjoy the architecture and history. I visited London in high school and loved it so much that I wanted the chance to live there for an extended period of time.
What IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I hope to have the opportunity to explore the nearby countries because I have never traveled around Europe besides London. I hope to have a group of friends to travel with during the weekends and possibly visit Spain and/or Ireland plus more!
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU'RE PASSIONATE AND EXCITED ABOUT? I am excited to explore the culture, such as visiting historical sights and visiting museums. I love taking photos, so I hope to capture the stories of each of the buildings and locations on film. I might want to cafe hop since some of my internship is remote, so maybe finding aesthetic study locations to complete my assignments while living like a local.
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am most looking forward to taking The Political Economy of Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. It will be interesting learning business through a global perspective and take classes with international classmates.
