An introduction to Italy, this program’s courses offer insights into the richness of Italian heritage and society. Study the innovation and technique of artists such as Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael. Identify and explore contemporary social, political, and cultural phenomena, or analyze manifestations of gender attitudes that reflect and influence realities women face in the world today. Even the subtle beauty of the Italian language presents a window onto Italian life. Your summer studies will deepen your knowledge of the bel paese.
