Take classes at ESADE Business School, a prestigious business school that boasts the rare distinction of triple accreditation—EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA—and attracts students from around the world. When you study abroad in Barcelona, you can choose CEA CAPA housing or arrange your own independent housing. CEA CAPA housing assignments are based on availability and confirmation date; we make every effort to match your housing requests, but we can’t guarantee housing preferences.
Program Structure
Choose between a June or July session. In June, students select 1-2 core tracks; in July students select 1 core track and 2 elective courses.
Each track meets for 50 contact hours/3 credits, with the exception of the Technology for Social Innovation course which meets for 100 contact hours/6 credits. Elective courses meet for 25 contact hours/1.5 credits. Students will earn up to 6 credits (up to 100 contact hours) during the course of the program. Core track meets in the morning and elective courses meet in early afternoon, Monday-Friday. Active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled during the afternoon and/or early evening.
Prior to departure, you will select your preferred tracks. You will be enrolled into tracks/courses based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple tracks/courses approved by your home university prior to departure. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university regarding credit pre-approval guidelines.
Housing Note: Please note, students in this program stay in the Residence Hall at ESADE's Sant Cugat Campus, located in the outskirts of Barcelona. For more details on this housing modality please visit CEA Barcelona housing page.

You will receive a finalized itinerary once you arrive onsite.
Note: Additional cultural activities/excursions or required course-related activities may be incorporated into your final itinerary. You are advised not to make personal travel arrangements until you have the final dates.
Official Program Start Date. Students must arrive at the Barcelona airport on this date in order to be eligible for airport pickup. Students will then be transferred to their assigned housing.
