DESCRIPTION
In this program, students will learn about the cultural diversity and richness of Barcelonan, Catalan and Spanish architectural Heritage. They will get to see or visit some of Barcelona?s buildings, and the most representative buildings of each period that have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The course will enable students to recognize the most important masterpieces of Barcelonese and Spanish architecture, learn why they receive such unanimous positive appraisal, and analyze their artistic characteristics and their social and historical implications.
