DESCRIPTION
This course is intended for students to go deeper into the details of the different historical periods of the twentieth century in Spain, through the most significant events at the political, economic and social level. This study begins in the nineteenth century, in the war of independence, to define the ideological concepts of liberal and conservative parties and thus, to understand the clashes between these two political ideas throughout the nineteenth and twentieth century. The historical process of the changes of political regimes and their influence on the twentieth century are analyzed, and then the study of various significant periods until reaching the current situation in the XXI century: Second Republic, Civil War and Franco, and now democracy.
