DESCRIPTION
The unit begins by exploring the nature of the tourism system and how the various elements of it are interdependent. It continues by exploring each element including: the characteristics of tourists and tourism destinations; the structure of the travel and transport industry that underpins tourism and the external influences on it. It also explores the key inputs and outputs of the system including the impacts of the travel and tourism industry.
