DESCRIPTION
This course inspires students to convert research, current business material, and market evidence into usable outputs for decision-making, or entrepreneurial problem solving. It is designed to operationalize research-to-practice by having students produce mini-cases, teaching notes, decision briefs, or short consulting-style outputs grounded in credible sources. Students learn how to search, evaluate, structure, and translate information rather than merely summarize it. The course also addresses AI-assisted research workflows, source credibility, bias, ethical use of AI, and the challenge of writing for different audiences. Students will be able to produce a rigorous, applied research artifact that could be used in a classroom, by a venture team, or by an external stakeholder.
