DESCRIPTION

This course provides students a foundation in a wide range of ethical issues related to medicine, healthcare and medical research. Through exploration of moral theory and the encouragement of critical application, students develop a foundation in medical ethics that can be applied to a range of topics such as truth-telling and patient autonomy, innovative surgery, abortion, cloning, euthanasia, and Artificial Intelligence.
