DESCRIPTION
A cultural and critical examination of France throughout the centuries. Using a variety of media (site visits, textbooks, class lectures, websites, guest lectures, etc.), you will learn about France from prehistoric times through the modern era, focusing on cultural and artistic periods, movements and structures. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of French civilization and culture through a close examination of Provence.
