DESCRIPTION
The study of economics enables a social sciences professional to analyze the various ways in which individuals, companies, governments, markets, and societies interact to face shortages and the availability of resources. In the "General Economics" course students determine the consequences of government decisions with regard to adopting economic models within the socioeconomic development of a country or region. As the main activity for this course, students perform a study about the causes and consequences that provoke a crisis or economic recession in the development of a country. Furthermore, they analyze the different theoretical perspectives that support an economic system or development model in a particular society.
