Familiarizar a los estudiantes con la historia de las mujeres en Europa y el cambio en los roles de género en la época actual. El curso se centrará de forma particular en las dimensiones de participación y representación política, incorporación de la mujer al mercado de trabajo, acceso a la educación, cambio social y nuevos modelos familiares. Se revisarán, además, la historia de los movimientos feministas en Europa así como las nuevas políticas con contenido de género.
