DESCRIPTION
This course studies the construction and integration processes of the European Union (EU), with a focus on the development of welfare states. Particular reference will be made to the implications on member countries' economies derived from sharing a single currency, solving recent economic crises and public policy challenges on demographics, pensions and health systems.
