DESCRIPTION
During this course, students will learn the foundation from various subjects (e.g. management, organizational behavior, marketing, consumer behavior) that would bring them to a common standard in the field of events. The importance of events for local and national economies together with various types of events will be also discussed. The course will be focused on acquisition of skills such as analytical thinking, ability to present and speak in public, development of professional and personal skills associated with employment in the events industry. Students should learn about the organization of events through many up-to-date case studies. The course will also provide the students with many useful and contemporary online tools for planning, management and promotion of various events. The course should provide foundation to all aspiring Event Management professionals.
