DESCRIPTION
Fundamentals of finance and their application to typical financial problems of business enterprises. Emphasis on financial analysis and forecasting, time-value of money, risk and return, security valuation, and working capital management. Through the use of practical and theoretical models, the course is intended to develop tools which a manager can use to evaluate the use and potential of financial resources in a modern corporate setting in relation to the dynamics which drive decision making. The course is designed to evaluate options when evaluating a situation or investment project.
