DESCRIPTION
This course offers students at the A2 level an introduction to the cultural, linguistic, and socio-political diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. Through the concept of "cultural mapping," students will explore topics ranging from language and geography to traditions, music, gastronomy, politics, and economics. Special attention will be given to stereotypes, controversial issues, and cross-cultural perspectives, particularly in relation to students' fields of study (business, economics, psychology, and international relations).
