DESCRIPTION
A studio art course at the beginning/intermediate level formulated to introduce a traditional technical foundation in oil painting. The course will focus on applying materials, elements and principles of design in composition, chiaroscuro, brushwork and color. Encounters with Florentine artists and the environment will enrich studio work.
