DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to familiarize students with French vocabulary and expressions used in the media and everyday conversation. Students will study idiomatic expressions, figures of speech, metaphors and idiosyncrasies of modern French. The use of euphemisms and circumlocutions are covered, as well as informal French.
