DESCRIPTION

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to data structures and algorithms, emphasizing algorithmic problem-solving through a progression of paradigms. It begins with foundational concepts of recursive thinking and recurrence relations before advancing through brute-force search and advancing to divide-and-conquer, greedy methods, dynamic programming, and backtracking. It also covers core data structures, including arrays, linked lists, trees, heaps, and hash tables, as well as fundamental graph algorithms, with a focus on understanding the benefits, trade-offs, and contexts in which each structure or approach is most effective.
