DESCRIPTION
A module focussed on how planners and other relevant agencies, stakeholders and interests groups, concerned with development control and local plan making, compile, represent and use geographical data. It includes a focus on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and the appropriate use of spatial data for geographical analysis and problem solving. The module also explores how people make sense of urban environments and neighbourhoods through forms of experiential mental mapping.
