DESCRIPTION

This course enables students to acquire a general framework of the evolution of the Spanish History and Art, connecting both aspects and studying their impact on everyday Spanish life. Different cultures in Spain will be discussed: Castilla, Catalonia, the Basque Country and Galicia with special attention to their language, nationality and political implications. Through the study of different laws and architectural forms, the student will understand the relationship between politics, society and culture as a comprehensive unit of the Spanish character.
