DESCRIPTION
Students will study in depth "El Quijote", the author Cervantes and the Spain of his time. The course will concentrate on the life and works of Miguel de Cervantes along with his literary theory and the language and style he chose to use. The class will discuss the dissemination and impact of the novel throughout the world, as well as Cervante's theatre and poetry, the content and structure of "El Quijote," and its characters.
