Best Practices in Custom & Faculty-led Program Development
Over the past few years, the study abroad field has experienced significant growth in short-term faculty-led programming. CEA has been at the forefront of this growth, working with our university partners and faculty to develop high-quality, academically-focused programming that emphasizes experiential learning. In 2018 alone, CEA collaborated with our university partners on 93 custom and faculty-led programs, with over 1520 enrolled students and 100 faculty members participating.
Earlier this year, Ahmad Refky, CEA’s Director of Custom & Faculty-Led Programs, Alexandra Mitchell, CEA’s Director of International Programs in France, and Dr. Michelle Beauclair, Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Seattle Pacific University hosted a webinar to showcase best practices in custom and faculty-led program development.
Utilizing their years of experience in developing and executing faculty-led programs, our presenters delved into the following topics:
CEA was wonderful to work with…Their support and knowledge was constant through the planning and execution.
