Navigating the Maze of International Internships

If internships abroad are a new concept for you, or if you’d like to get a better understanding of program options and working with international internship providers, this is the event for you. We’ll also do some myth busing about international internships and leave plenty of time for Q&A. 

Paid, Unpaid, and Paying for Internships

The debate about whether interns should be paid or not is a hot topic in higher education, and rightly so. But when the internship is overseas, the issue of paid or unpaid (or even paying for an internship) can be something of a conundrum. Join us to learn more about the benefits of an international internship and the resources available to students who work with an in-country provider.  

As a field, how can we work smarter, not harder, to graduate career-ready students? Collaboration between on-campus offices and international internship providers can lead to a more holistic student experience and measurable career readiness outcomes. Join us as we hear from our institutional partners in career services and study abroad who support students through the international internship process. You'll leave with creative ideas and resources you can tap into on your campus.
