General Visual Arts Internship Position Description

1. Assisting with Art Exhibitions: Contribute to the preparation of art exhibitions by setting up display areas, arranging artwork, and ensuring that all pieces are properly labeled and presented.
2. Supporting Art Inventory Management: Aid in managing art supplies and equipment by tracking inventory levels, organizing materials, and assisting with the ordering of new items.
3. Participating in Art Documentation: Engage in documenting artwork by photographing pieces, recording details about the works, and organizing digital and physical records for the studio or gallery.
4. Coordinating Art Class Materials: Help in preparing materials for art classes or workshops by organizing supplies, setting up workstations, and ensuring that instructional materials are ready for use.
5. Creating Art Pieces: Work on simple art projects or practice pieces under the guidance of experienced artists, using various techniques and materials to develop basic artistic skills.
