Position Description

Dive into the world of Publishing, where the art of creating and sharing written and visual content meets the innovation of the digital age. This vibrant field encompasses everything from editorial work and manuscript acquisition to book design and distribution. Some duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Supporting Editorial Tasks: Contribute to editorial tasks by proofreading manuscripts, organizing editorial feedback, and preparing documents for further review.

2. Facilitating Content Organization: Engage in content organization by managing manuscript submissions, categorizing materials, and updating content inventories for publication.

3. Managing Production Schedules: Oversee production schedules by tracking deadlines, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring that timelines are met for publishing projects.

4. Coordinating Author Communications: Handle author communications by scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and updating authors on project progress.

5. Updating Publication Records: Maintain and update publication records by entering data into databases, tracking sales metrics, and ensuring accuracy in record-keeping.
