General Architecture Internship Position Description
Discover Architecture, where creativity intersects with engineering to design and construct a variety of structures and spaces. Some duties may include but are not limited to:
1. Drafting Basic Plans: Assist in creating preliminary architectural drawings and diagrams using drafting software or by hand, under the guidance of senior architects.
2. Site Observation and Reporting: Observe and report on site conditions and progress, noting any discrepancies or issues for further review by senior staff.
3. Compiling Design Research: Gather and organize research materials related to building materials, codes, and design trends to support the design process.
4. Preparing Presentation Materials: Help create and organize materials for client presentations, including visual aids and design proposals, ensuring they are clear and professional.
5. Managing Project Documentation: Assist in maintaining and organizing project files, including contracts, correspondence, and design revisions, to ensure all documentation is up to date.
