When it comes to seeing one of the most beautiful cities in the world, studying abroad in Barcelona has a lot to offer. It can be difficult to experience the whole city in such a short period of time when there's so much to do. Here are a few of some “must see” spots that include great views and give you a glimpse at the Spanish culture.
If you want the best view in Barcelona, this is your spot. Right next to the famous Par Güell, Bunkers holds one of the best views of the city. Carmel de Bunkers is about a 20-minute drive from the center of Barcelona and about 30 steps from there. Although it definitely will give you a workout getting up, it is worth the views!
Located minutes away from Placa Catalunya and La Ramblas La Boqueria is a massive market with all kinds of fresh food. Ranging from fresh fish, pounds of candy, and some of the hottest peppers, La Boqueria has it all!
Gracia Outdoor Tapas
What’s a trip to Barcelona without getting some tapas? The beautiful neighborhood of Gracia is home to dozens of outdoor tapas restaurants. The best part about these restaurants is that they all offer outdoor seating and a wide variety of the most popular Spanish tapas.
