Abroad in Florence

November 05, 2018
by Jamie Coles
Despite only having been in Florence for six weeks, the personal growth I have experienced, travels I have taken, and friendships I have made are what many could only hope for in a lifetime.  Studying abroad has given me the opportunity to make a home away from home out of a beautiful city with a limitless history and undeniably some of the most amazing food I have EVER encountered.  Immersing myself in the Italian culture and interacting with the locals has only justified my love and appreciation for Florence I had anticipated prior to departure.  It's hard to find words that sufficiently describe all of the opportunities I have been given through this program, but hopefully this video will speak for me.
Jamie Coles is the Fall 2018 CEA MOJO Photographer in Florence, Italy, and is currently studying at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
