Excursion Spotlight: Honfleur!

Excursion Spotlight: Honfleur!

October 11, 2017
Our first excursion with CEA was to Honfleur, France. It's a charming coastal city in Northern France that is home to vibrant markets, a bustling downtown harbor, and lots of color.
A crowded farmer's market in the town square
Me (center) and four other CEA Paris students enjoying our day in the quaint port village
The bell tower of the port's church, separated from the main building to protect parishioners from fire
Climbing up the town's hills to Mont Joli
Yoann, a professor at CEA, overlooking Honfleur after leading us on a hike above the town
Notre-Dame de Grâce (located on a hill high above the city center)
The inside of this small church dedicated to the protection of the village's sailors
Students touring the facilities for making Calvados at Château du Breuil
Apples being grown at the château
Cider and apple pie tasting at Château du Breuil

Dana F. is the Fall 2017 MOJO Photographer in Paris, France. She is currently a junior studying Cinema & Photography at Ithaca College.
