“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battut

For the people who have lived and studied in Florence, they will say it is one of the best cities on Earth. Although there is valid truth behind that statement, it is also important to see the rest of Europe. Living and studying in Florence is an awe-inspiring experience, but traveling through Europe is a must. Traveling to other countries around Europe is what every study abroad student does because of how cheap and easy it is to get around. Flights to other countries can cost as little as 20 euros (21 dollars) through RyanAir. Flights are usually only two-hours-long and then the adventure awaits.

 CEA Student Travels to Amsterdam

Other ways of travel is by a bus through companies such as Bus2Alps, almost any place. Using companies like Bus2Alps is a stress-free way of going around Europe because they plan the entire weekend for you. All you have to do is meet at the departure point (usually a 5-minute walk) and you are set for an trip of a lifetime.
 CEA Student Goes to Switzerland

Going to places like Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Amsterdam, Croatia, Paris and London are great to experience the famous sights of the world. It gives you a different perspective on cultures and life. Meeting and communicating with different types of people forces you to learn an amazing amount about yourself and others. It is the easiest way to learn about customs, languages, religion and of course food in the easiest way possible. One thing I have learned about traveling is that everything is more ingrained in your experience when you are physically there because it is so much more interesting than a travel book. One will not always retain all the information but the memories will last forever.
