Throughout the first few weeks of my time
studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland I had the experience of seeing a brand new country with an excited spirit. There is nothing like being in a new environment and knowing that I have 4 months to explore, experience, and take in all of the beauty. These pictures showcase some of the beauty that I found in my first few weeks abroad. Coffee shops with the best goat cheese and pepper sandwich, hidden gems among the neighborhood I live in, commemoration of Pope John Paul II's visit to Ireland, and cathedral doors are just a few of the beautiful things that one finds in Ireland. Often the beauty of Dublin is hidden behind closed gates, such as the one featured in the last image. What I love about having to search for this beauty is how special it becomes when you find it. Dublin is a city full of life, history, bridges, churches, and so much beauty. I am so excited to see what else I find behind Dublin's secret gates and doors as I explore for the rest of the semester.
