Just a short tram ride north of Alicante’s city center lies Playa de San Juan. Known for its fine white sand and calm water, this beautiful beach is the perfect destination for wind/water sports enthusiasts and anyone who just want to take a nice walk along the sand; San Juan Beach is 7 km long. There’s also a golf course and several restaurants along this spectacular strand.

This small, welcoming beach is a favorite among local families, thanks to its calm water and soft, white sand. It’s the perfect destination for those who are learning a water sport or just want to avoid the waves. Albufera Beach connects to the much-larger San Juan Beach.

4. Playa de Cabo Huertas

This beautiful rocky beach may not have restaurants or chiringuitos lining its shores, but it’s the perfect place if you need some relaxing, quiet nature time. 5. Tabarca
Tabarca’s not technically a beach, it’s an island. For a small fee, you can hop on a boat and spend the day exploring Tabarca’s sandy and rocky beaches and enjoying stunning views of the Alicante coast. It’s one of the best snorkeling spots around, plus there’s lots of good restaurants serving typical Spanish cuisine. It’s a don’t miss!
