Get a Flight Credit worth up to If you study abroad, then you have the opportunity to go on a number spectacular excursions offered by CEA. Just a piece of advice: Take advantage of these excursions and go on as many as possible. CEA offers a signup period for these excursions, and if you don't put your name down on time, then you won't be able to sign up and attend the excursions later.
With so many places to visit in Spain, there were several excursions CEA offered to its students. My favorite three were: Madrid, the Pyrenees Mountains, and two towns called Girona and Besalú.

If you embark on this day long excursion, you will first arrive to Girona which is the second most popular city in Catalonia behind Barcelona. Your next stop will be the medieval town of Besalú.
Fun Fact: Part of the new season of Game of Thrones was just filmed in Girona.

My favorite part about Girona was this Cathedral. The interior of the temple will blow your mind.
Such a beautiful medieval town. Besalú is a must-see village.
