For most universities across North America, Fall semester is in full swing and you know what that means - study abroad fairs have begun (queue song, "It's the most wonderful time of the year")! As you start to see CEA's familiar blue hue and friendly faces amongst the ocean of study abroad provider tables, be on the look out for our newest team members - Alumni Ambassadors. Hint: you may know them - they're your peers!

Members of our brand new Alumni Ambassador Program, our Alumni Ambassadors have been trained on all things CEA and are rip-roaring ready to start spreading the CEA word around their home campuses. So who are these Alumni Ambassadors and where will they be roaming? We won't keep you in suspense any longer, meet some of our new Ambassadors below!

  Amanda Peterman
Senior at University of Michigan Ann Arbor Barcelona Spring 2012, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences   My study abroad experience is flooded with hilarious, exciting and adventurous memories of exploring the city and traveling all around Europe. I have to say that one of my favorite memories was spending the last night on the beach reminiscing about the past four months with all of the new friends I had made throughout the semester. It was definitely a bittersweet memory that will never be forgotten.

  Derek Bandurak
Senior at the University of Pittsburgh
Barcelona 2012, International Business

I chose to study abroad in Barcelona because I am currently studying International Business and Economics at the University of Pittsburgh and wanted to go to a destination where I could gain valuable knowledge in these subjects while improving my Spanish language skills.

  Kathryn Ison
Senior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Dublin Spring 2012, International Business

My most memorable moment abroad was when I traveled to the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast of Ireland because it was so beautiful and because it was also St. Patrick's Day in Dublin!

  Tommy Tehomilic
Senior at Pace University
Prague Spring 2012

My best memory had to be when I went to Munich for Springfest and actually bought authentic lederhosen for the festival's events. They may have cost almost 200 Euros but they provided me with countless memories.

Stay tuned - more Alumni Ambassador profiles to come later in the week! Learn more about applying to become an Alumni Ambassador on your campus.
