There's something to see and do for everybody in Spain! Whether you prefer Barcelona's bustle or Granada's architectural grandeur, you'll have no trouble immersing – in fact, throwing – yourself into the Spanish culture. As you settle back into campus life, take a moment to check out what's new with CEA in Spain.

   Barcelona
We've introduced a new Pre-Law Honors Program in Barcelona for students considering a career in law. Here student will be exposed to basic skills and methods of reasoning used in law, and gain the experience and know-how to help them stand out on law school applications. The program was designed in collaboration with Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) – a top ranked school in Spain and the only Spanish Partner school recognized by the Oxford law faculty.

Madrid
The 'M' in Madrid stands for mui this year as we've added more study abroad choices to the city known for its friendly Madrilenos. Whet your appetite for the real Madrid with new courses like Sports & Culture, Photography, Food & Wine, and Spanish Cinema.

We've also added a Quarter Term to Spring for those of you on a quarter academic calendar. Finally, we've opened our Semester program at Nebrija to all language levels. So regardless of our level of Spanish acquisition, you can choose immerse yourself in student life on a true Spanish campus.

  Alicante
Jump to the head of the class with our new Early Start language course, now required for students applying to the Spring International Business Program in Alicante. The courses is designed to focus on oral comprehension and expression, listening comprehension and grammar. Put your sophisticated Spanish to use while you explore the beaches along Costa Blanca in between your international business courses, which are taught in English on a Spanish campus. Near the end of your semester, you may elect to take the DELE – the official exam and prep course for Spanish language certification.

Granada
We're thrilled to add to our Granada offerings this year the "Internship, Spanish Language & Culture" program, providing three credits (40 contact hours) for a semester internship along with two Spanish Language courses. Students choosing this program will be asked to submit a letter of interest and a CV, and will be notified of their placement before leaving the U.S. Internships are now available for:

• English teaching assistants at primary and secondary schools
• Pre-school education assistant
• Event coordinator trainee with Granada International Music & Dance Festival
• Hotel receptionist assistant

Other updates for CEA in Granada: Deepen your understanding of Granada's Arabic influence with our now standard excursion to Morocco. Discover what about the multicultural city of Tangier inspired writers such as Jack Kerouac and Tennessee Williams. When you're ready for a break from classes, sign up for the new, optional international excursion to Lagos, Portugal. Here you'll find beautiful white beaches, water sports, and magical sunsets. The Romans used to believe the sun sank into the ocean in Portugal – marking the edge of the world!
