A Snapshot of Grenoble

Grenoble is a beautiful city with a lot of history and beauty. The snow was something I first noticed, being from Southern California. It really is gorgeous, as it covers buildings and creates a blanket on the streets. It gets very cold here but I love the snow that comes with it. So far it hasn't been too heavy so I'm enjoying it!

The Isere river runs through the city and the buildings lining it are colorful and pleasant. From here you can see the mountains in the distance surrounding the city and appreciate the good weather. I absolutely love the walk to the CEA office, as I cross the river and see these great views!

Graffiti on the doors of shops

There is graffiti all over the city. Some of it is standard, but others are beautiful paintings. You can see it all over the metal grates covering closed shop doors.

Reflection of the city in the tram

The tramway is excellent here and is the best way to get around! It takes you everywhere you need to go and they are comfortable. I take the tram to school everyday and to go shopping, find restaurants, and explore the city.
