Get a Flight Credit worth up to One of the CEA Galway excursions was to the island Inismor part of the Aran Islands off the coast of Ireland near Galway. We took an early ferry to the island, where we were able to bike ride along the secluded road that borders it. We biked to the ancient fort of Dun Aengus overlooking a massive cliff on the Atlantic Ocean. Our day continued on a local beach where we hung out, made ‘sand-angels’ and enjoyed the beautiful day on an island full of ancient Irish culture and Gaelic traditions.

We biked to the ancient fort of Dún Aonghasa, but the walk to the top is long and rocky!
The cliff is so high! The only way to feel somewhat comfortable looking
over the edge is to crawl up to it and lay down!
Waving 'Hi!' to a small plane flying nearby, we felt so close to it on the cliff side!
We got to enjoy lunch at a local cafe near the fort - it was incredibly delicious!

In addition to making sand angels, laying in the sun and dipping our feet in the cool sea,
we tried some tumbling and action shots!
Our transportation around the island was by bike.
If you can't ride, Brian is so helpful with the tandem bicycle!
We enjoyed local soft-serve ice cream after our long day
while we awaited to board the ferry back to the main land.
