Get a Flight Credit worth up to Last week the Barcelona Global Campus Director Enric Figueras and Assistant Academic Dean Dr. Ana Martínez held a reception for all participants in the new Global Career Development Certificate program launched this Fall 2012. Students, mentors, and the seminar instructor, Maydo Arderiu, shared their thoughts on the externship component of the Career Development Seminar. Our first class of students had the opportunity to learn from professionals about a broad range of fields, including film production, marketing, sports management, psychology, business, and international relations. The reception was closed with the presentation of the certificates to each student by Ana Martínez. Students emphasized how the program had contributed to set specific goals for their future professional paths and hoped to keep that personal connection they had made with their mentors in the future.
We would like to thank our students and mentors for their commitment to this new program which exposes students to the reality of their chosen field of work in the context of our experiential learning model.
